About Steve Chase
Welcome....I started fluid art painting in November 2017 just to fill some bare walls in our new home. I did not plan on doing much more than that but I quickly became so mesmerized and infatuated with the process that I continued on.
My method of operation begins with choosing color combinations and then which method I will use to initially apply the paint. I usually start out by combining the colors into a plastic cup and pouring the contents onto the canvas. This creates an explosion of colors and shapes that becomes a unique puzzle that must be solved immediately before the paint starts to setup and dry.
Since the paint is fluid the canvas can be tilted to move the shapes and patterns around to create different effects. Sometimes I use compressed air instead of tilting to move the paint. This method blends the colors and adds a different dimension to the painting.
I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures and feel free to make a comment or ask questions...Thank you.
